I don’t think I need to say too much about this – it pretty much underscores everything I’ve been saying since this site began. Our Chinese friends have been very, very busy over the past 7 years, and their labors are starting to bear fruit:
China has secretly built a major underground nuclear submarine base that could threaten Asian countries and challenge American power in the region, it can be disclosed.
Satellite imagery, passed to The Daily Telegraph, shows that a substantial harbour has been built which could house a score of nuclear ballistic missile submarines and a host of aircraft carriers.
In what will be a significant challenge to US Navy dominance and to countries ringing the South China Sea, one photograph shows China’s latest 094 nuclear submarine at the base just a few hundred miles from its neighbours.
Other images show numerous warships moored to long jettys and a network of underground tunnels at the Sanya base on the southern tip of Hainan island.

China is determined to be a global superpower. I’m pretty sure that they want to be the global superpower, though I have no evidence for that. They’re starting by trying to kick the US out of Asia, so that they can have free
reignrein there. That’s why India is so important, and why it’s critical to try to split the Russia-China alliance early on.So far, though, China is chugging along with no reaction by the West.

The south china sea has always been an area of contested territory. Spratly Islands,Taiwan and resource conflicts have always threatened hostilities breaking out there since WW2. It can come as no surprise that since the US and the West have provided unchecked technology and capital flow into China,it would eventually increase the risk and capability of the Chinese to dominate militarily in this part of the world.
There have been far more important discoveries than this, but they have received very little coverage, the outright purchse of maglev technology from germany for 1.The sale of missle technology FROM china to ISRAEL …. (I lol’d at this.. talk about strange bedfellows) But the most worrying was the chinese shootdown of their satellite recently. Implying of course that not only does china have the ability to launch and hit a small target, but can do so intercontinentally. Hitting a satellite is hard enough, but what was sent was a message similar to sputnik. That is, that the PRC now has the will and ability to match many technologies that were previously only available to NATO or Russia. (thanks walmart and all the other sellout companies that have provided BILLIONS of free USD to a communist strategic foe)

Strategically and historically china and russia have always been at odds as have china-india notwithstanding their past political choices (communism) they have never been true “allies.” In fact during the cold war russia and china kept large forces at their border out of fear for the other. India is both hit-and-miss as a possible future ally of the west. As evidenced by the recent reversal of US-India nuke cooperation once the Indians started to militarise the techs they were provided and increasing missle production. The main problem is this, Pakistan also has nukes and we need them more than the Indians in the war on terror. check that… we need a stable dictator in Pakistan which we nearly lost once wind got around to them that we hadnt removed restrictions for THEIR military…the case now (once again not reported on nearly enough… the US has removed all military sanctions from both sides India/Pakistan and has provided nuke tech to India in a bid to secure a alliance in the future) India is surrounded and has no option but to commit to its own preservation. Iran Pakistan China Russia are all next door, dont expect them to be our front line against the chinese so that Mrs. Oppenham in Missouri can plant a bigger garden, they will do whats in Indias intrest for India b4 anyone else. (oh btw… anyone else hear that both India and Pakistan have stopped exports of rice? which is fueling mass price gouging and is 1 reason why SAMs/Costco have limits)

June 3 1963, a day after the death of Pope John XXIII, Conchita said to her mother Aniceta: “For sure…now there remain no more than three popes!” When her mother asked her if this meant the end of the world Conchita said that the Virgin did not say “end of the world” but rather “end of times”.
Today, analysts of the Garabandal apparitions say that this particular prophecy is consistent with the prophecies of St. Malachi. Based on Conchita’s statements, we can surmise that John Paul II is the last pope before the end of times. Whereas, St. Malachi’s prophecy of the 112 popes makes the late Pope John Paul II as 110th Pope consequently making Benedict XVI as second to the last pope. If we accept the argument that the last two papacies will be involved with the events of the last times then we have a perfectly coherent and mutually affirming prophecies of St. Malachi and Conchita.
If we take these facts further and reconcile these with other prophecies such as those of Fatima, Antonio Ruffini, German Priest & Mystic, a horrifying truth comes to our realization. All these prophecies point to our time as the time of the great tribulations wherein we can expect the outbreak of World War III, the flight of Benedict XVI from Rome and his subsequent murder, the resurgence of communism, death of billions of humans, the rise of the antichrist and ultimately the coming of the great comet which will destroy a great part of world.

“Whether Malachy’s characterization of Pope Benedict XVI is “on the mark” remains to be seen.
The new pope, Pope Benedict XVI, is 78 years old, and not in good health. In 1991 he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. He himself predicted a short reign in comments to cardinals just after his election. He is the oldest pope elected in 275 years, since Clement XII in 1730. It seems likely that he will not serve long. If, as Malachy suggests, Benedict will work for peace, he does not have much time to make his mark. In view of the high level of world attention to the Israel/Palestine dispute, it seems reasonable that he may spend time on this problem. In his book, Nostradamus: Predictions of World War III (Inner Light – Global Communications, 1996), author Jack Manuelian paraphrases Nostradamus: “In a short time the physician of great evil and the leech of unequal order (an evil person working behind the scenes) will put the Olive Branch (the pope after John Paul) on fire. In any event, a person aged 78 who is not in good health does not have a long life expectancy. In Benedict, the College of Cardinals has elected a “transitionary” pope. In view of his short life expectancy, Malachy’s prophecy would indicate that we will soon see the last pope on the throne of St. Peter. Pope Benedict is the 265th pope over a two-thousand-year timespan, so that the average reign of a pope is about seven and one-half years. Seven years from now is 2012. So St. Malachy’s suggestion of two more popes until the end of the age suggests that the current age will end in 2012. This is interesting in that it corresponds exactly to the end of the Mayan Calendar (December 21, 2012).
Now, what do I make of all of this? Well, as you know, although my professional background is in physical science (PhD in mathematical statistics), I have an interest in spiritual science, and I take note of the parallels and complementarities between them. According to the theories of M. King Hubbert (Hubbert’s Curve, Hubbert’s Peak), global oil production will peak this decade (2001-2010), and global oil reserves will be exhausted by 2050. As soon as global oil production peaks, global human population will begin to decline, and global war will ensue. Many geologists agree that global oil production is peaking or about to peak, say within two years. So, it is my view, based on scientific theory, that the industrial world as we know it will soon be ending. That has nothing at all to do with prophecy – Biblical prophecy, or St. Malachy, or Nostradamus, or the Mayans, or anyone else. The industrial world will soon collapse because we are running out of oil, and there is nothing comparable to replace it. (A more important reason is that we (i.e., large human numbers and industrial activity) are destroying the biosphere at a horrific rate (with an estimated 30,000 species being made extinct each year). Whereas people are in total denial over this cause of “the end of the world,” they cannot deny that global oil is running out.)

Our Analysis of the Prophecies and Current Events:
The prophecies say that World War will breakout in July 2008. It will last for four years (2008 – 2012) resulting to the death of 4 billion humans. Precipitating World War III is a communist backed revolution that will sweep across the nations of Europe ( Italy , France , Britain , Spain , Germany …etc.).
Russia, together with China , will also attack the US with nuclear weapons. This results in massive US loses and will delay American help for its European allies.
The current oil and food crisis will be taken advantage by communists and they will instigate a series of protests around the world. These protests are engineered to suddenly capitulate into a gigantic and worldwide revolution with its epicenter in Europe .
The pope will flee Rome during the course of the war since communist tyrants will subdue Italy . He will be caught and murdered later and there will be no pope for around 2 years.
A new pope will be elected around 2010 and he will Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary sometime 2011. Through the merits of this Act of Consecration, the tide of war will change in favor of US and allies. Russia and China will be defeated and peace restored.

Many experts on this matter say that at this time it is already too late to avert World War III. But we can still lessen the suffering during those days by resorting to prayer and penance. Specifically, Our Lady of Fatima asked that we earnestly pray the Rosary, Consecrate our humble selves to Her Most Immaculate Heart, make penance and amend our lives.

Hmm…here we are, 31st October 2011, reigning pontiff is still Benedict XVI. I doubt anyone can predict it as only God can decide when such things are to happen.
