Bush’s popularity polls are a hot topic near elections and when his numbers are low, but where does he stand now? Two striking features of the plot are immediately apparent. The first is that Bush has dropped off a couple of points from last month’s average of 40%. The second is that the polls, all of which have margins of error of about 3%, have a scatter of 10%. Beware the pollster and his claims of accuracy and relevance.
